This was such a great family-friendly hotel!

This is what we loved!

  • Cafe Bocadillo-This is conveniently in the lobby & offers Starbucks Coffee, To-Go Food, Plenty of Snacks & a Gift Shop! We love not having to leave the hotel for a good cup of coffee!

  • Tributary Restaurant-Also located in the beautifully renovated lobby is an onsite restaurant offering plenty of Southwest Style Meals. We loved the tacos & there were plenty of kid-friendly options too. The lobby bar was nice & open and had plenty of space for families & lots of huge TVs for watching the Winter Football Games that were going on while we were there!

  • Accommodations: The suite options for families are outstanding. We absolutely love having a place to hang out after we put our little one to bed & this offered a perfect spot for this. There are options to have a separate room with two queens or a king bed. The King Bedroom had a huge bathroom with separate showers & tubs + a completely separate dressing & getting ready area with a huge mirror & closet. An added bonus was the Kitchen Area. It is so nice having a refrigerator when traveling with kids so you have a place for snacks & milk!

  • M Club-If you book a larger suite room, you have access to the M Club with Complimentary Breakfast & Happy Hour Hors D’Oeuvres! Their Mac & Cheese was a fan favorite with our toddler & it made a nice place to go each morning & evening before exploring!

  • Access to the Riverwalk & Rivercenter-It was incredible to be able to take an escalator from the lobby right down to the hub of the Riverwalk. This hotel attaches right to the River Center Mall with so many shopping options, Restaurants like Yard House & even a Car Rental Center. We spent a few days in Fredericksburg after our time here & it was really convenient to just walk into the mall & grab our rental!

-Historic Buildings with a brewery, hotel, shopping & food hall! So many great restaurants!!

We Loved These Spots:

-Food Hall: There was a great outdoor space for the kids to run around outside & food options to keep everyone happy!

-Sternewirth Tavern-We had a cocktail on their patio & the bartender even made our toddler a special fancy drink!

-Lick Honest Ice Creams: Plenty of Options & so fun to have while walking around the weekend markets!

#4: Explore The Riverwalk Area

Just walking around the Riverwalk is so much fun! We were there over the holidays & the lights were magical. There are restaurants everywhere & great shopping!

Some Great Kid-Friendly Places are:

Rainforest Cafe

Legoland

Sea Life San Antonio

Holey Moley Golf Club

Boudro’s on the Riverwalk-A great cafe for lunch!

Casa Rio-Tex-Mex Restaurant

Brenner’s on the River Walk-We had a very upscale steak dinner here overlooking the water & sat outside! They were great with our toddler!

#5: The Alamo

Right within walking distance of our hotel, we were able to stroll the grounds of the Alamo! They are currently building a new visitor’s center that looks incredible!

There are Guided & Self-Guided Options (We walked through the self-guided in about 30 minutes + the Gift Shop). They have other fun demonstrations like the LIving History Encampment & Musket Firing Demonstrations. You can check out their website for times & tickets!
